After obtaining a building permit, the construction supervision authority must be notified of the intended date of the commencement of building works. The planned proceed date must be communicated to the office of a city with poviat rights or poviat construction supervision inspectorate competent for the project location. If the building permit was issued by the voivodship office, you must also notify that office about the intention to commence works.

The construction may begin only after the notification is filed. The office does not issue a confirmation of notification filing. If any defects are found in the documents, the investor will be requested to rectify them. If the office does not find any defects, the building works may be commenced on the date indicated in the notification.
