SPA resorts in Warmia and Mazury delighted the Russians

Russian journalists specializing in tourism visited the region of Warmia and Mazury and got acquainted with the services offered by the SPA & Wellness resorts.

The study visit began on September 28 and ended on October 2, 2016. It was attended by four journalists: Inna Onyszczenko cooperating with the magazine "Krasota i Zdorovie" ("Beauty and Health"), Denis Drozdowski representing Travel.ru, Ekaterina Danilova from "Discovery" and Tatiana Ponamorenko with Radio Mayak and Radio Russia. The guests visited Baths of Warmia at Lidzbark, Sports and Recreation Centre "Ukiel" in Olsztyn, Grand Hotel Tiffi in Iława and Golebiewski Hotel in Mikolajki, among others.

- We tried to show Russian journalists the best recreation and sports facilities in the region and the hotels which offer SPA & Wellness services, to encourage Russian tourists to visit Warmia and Mazury also during low season - says Dorota Zalewska-Bomba, director of the Department of Tourism in the Marshal's Office, which organized the visit. - Thanks to this offer, among others, we are able to meet the ever increasing demands of tourists from both home and abroad. Judging by the reaction of Russian journalists, we manage to achieve success.

Another Polish-Russian meeting regarding tourism was held on October 5 in Olsztyn. Representatives of the Ministry of Tourism of Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation took part in the Forum of Business Cooperation of the Kaliningrad Oblast and the region of Warmia and Mazury; during the meeting there was a presentation of touristic potential of the Kaliningrad region.
