Meet the participants of the 2nd stage of the Golden Site 2021 competition in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship – E\u0142k Commune<\/strong><\/p>\n

The E\u0142k Commune is a rural commune located in the south-eastern part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in the central part of the E\u0142k County. The total area of \u200b\u200bthe E\u0142k commune is 37,918 ha.<\/p>\n

The main communication routes in the E\u0142k Commune are national roads (DK16, DK65), as well as provincial roads (DW656, DW667). The S61 Via Baltica expressway will run through the eastern part of the E\u0142k Commune, as a transport corridor Warsaw – Budzisko, it plays the role of the most important road connection between the Baltic countries.<\/p>\n

The Rail Baltica railway line together with the Via Baltica road connection are the elements of the trans-European transport corridor connecting Warsaw, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki. The Rail Baltica line is intended mainly for interstate transit traffic.<\/p>\n

Due to its location, the E\u0142k commune is highly appreciated by the tourists. The development of tourism and recreation is fostered by the presence of large forest complexes, lowland river valleys, numerous lakes, attractive landscape, natural and cultural conditions, location in the area of \u200b\u200bthe Green Lungs of Poland.<\/p>\n

The E\u0142k commune is a resident-friendly commune, open to development and cooperation, as well as providing good living conditions.<\/p>\n
